Intro to Screen Acting

More than just your standard drama class!

You’ll learn about how to achieve a natural performance in front of a camera and what’s involved in acting with film crews and equipment.

Audition Skills

*In conjunction with the Revelation Film Festival

Always wanted to be in television commercials or films, but not sure how to go about it?

This workshop will give participants a solid introduction into the audition process.

This will include some background information on what happens before an audition (chasing work, getting an agent, what to prepare), during (what is a redirection?) and after (will they call me/should I call them?)

You’ll also run through some practical exercises focusing on the main skills you may be asked to demonstrate during an audition, plus industry advice on how to develop an acting career.

Prerequisite: Must have some acting training experience

Green Screen VFX

Explosions, invisibility, flying – you can do it all and more in this exciting Green Screen video special effects workshop. You’ll learn about film equipment and what it takes to film a green screen scene, then devise a short scene and film it with a small group. Then sit back and watch as your scene is magically transformed! You’ll be emailed a copy of your scene to keep too.
