So says Tina Fey, Queen of Comedy, in her book Bossypants.
It WILL however, as she said “Inside the Actor’s Studio”, help free the actor for their mortal enemy – self-conciousness.
“It’s very freeing. With improvisation, all you’re supposed to be doing is putting all your attention on your partner and listening to everything they are saying. And it takes you out of watching yourself”.
If you’d like to learn more about Improvisation and how it can help you as an actor, Filmbites has workshops in 3 age groups coming up in October – simply book on the links below to secure your place.
