Acting for Film:
Have you ever wondered what it is like to be an actor on a TV show or a movie? What does it take to make a character come to life? This workshop will introduce you to the craft of Acting for Film & TV. Acting for film students also have the opportunity to go on our casting books.

Animation:
This course teaches animation using Flash software (2D animation like The Simpsons). Beginners start by learning the interface and gradually creating their own original animation. Intermediate/Advanced classes venture further into the world of Flash and into using sophisticated after effects such as lighting.

|
Film Making:
Write, direct and edit your own short film. An excellent place to start for an overall introduction to filmmaking. Learn how to brainstorm ideas, structure your script, storyboard, use the equipment, direct and edit. This fun course sees you as both the cast and crew.

|
Gaming:
Why just play them when you can learn to make them? This course will introduce you to game design and development. Using GameMaker software, you’ll start off with basic techniques and move steadily toward more advanced game programming.

Members Production Class:
For experienced filmmaking students who wish to focus on the technical, behind the scenes side of movie-making. Enrolment on application – call us to find out more.

Professional Training (Acting for Film):
For our more experienced students who are interested in developing both their performance and auditioning skills at auditioning with a view to an acting career. Enrolment on application – call us to find out more.

Short Stuff:
Specifically designed for 7-9 year olds, this course is a fun introduction to some important elements of the filmmaking process. They’ll participate in enjoyable exercises to learn about film equipment and storymaking. Acting training will teach them how to be natural in front of the camera and prepares them for ‘acting’.

Year Courses:
Our year courses are aimed at covering all aspects of a real life production and are recommended for ages 14+ who have made a couple of short films and who would like to consider a career in the industry.
